The famous cable car is only for tourists now. $5.00 for a single ride.
Fisherman's Wharf, where there are numerous great restaurants.
I walked for miles my first day in the city. Here is the famous crooked Lombard Street.
At one point in my career (back a long long time ago) I considered working for Transamerica.
San Francisco has a collection of trolleys from all over the United States and the world. I rode on one from Naples, Italy and on another from Toronto.
The rainbow flag greets you as you enter The Castro.
This picture is for my niece Lisa, who loves In-N-Out burgers.
Maybe this is one of my pictures from Amsterdam. The tulips festival was in full bloom.
Here's the ferry I took to Alcatraz.
A typical cell, 5 feet by 9 feet, with all the comforts of home.
The latest prisoner. For those who haven't seen the new TV series Alcatraz, give it a try. It is one of the many shows I record.
An interesting sculpture near the water.
Tomorrow I'm starting another around the world adventure. I'll be traveling to Buenos Aires (again) - Mendoza, Argentina - Hong Kong - Sri Lanka - Singapore - Manila and Boracay, Philippines - Bali, Indonesia - Penang, Malaysia. This is the first half of my trip, with more to follow in October. I'll try to post along the way, but I never know if I'll be able to upload the pictures.
Hope you enjoy the photos.
